Something different this time. This tutorial shows you how to make a sausage bun out of polymer clay. (lol, I made this look like such a big deal and stuff, but really, it's a simple thing that's very easy to make... I don't know how this ended up being so long winded...-__-) IGNORE the LAME intro btw, it's there just to fill space...
I used different clay here: Sculpey III, Premo Sculpey, FIMO, craft smart, Sculpey Bake Shop… and although there are some individual differences between these (Premo I find to be a bit more crumbly/hard than the others) the baked product/outcome is pretty much the same to me… Soft pastels/chalk pastels are really useful for colouring clay. I don’t recommend using oil pastels though. I tried it once and the clay just didn’t pick up the colours as well and I got a lot of specks/flakes of colour that won’t go away… or maybe that’s just me. I also don’t recommend using chalk… I used a glove again because I tend to leave ugly looking fingerprints on the clay. T_T I don’t know what the pointy thing is… it was just there in my kitchen…!
